“You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.”
Zeus is probably one of the most famous Greek gods in history. He was son to Cronus and Rhea. His mother sheltered him after his birth, because his father- anxious about being overthrown by any one of his children-would swallow his newborns whole. When he was grown, strong and fast, he decided to take the throne from his father.
His mother helped, by poisoning Cronus, who then threw up his other children. They all banded behind Zeus, and were able to dethrone him after much battling. The young god rose in respect and acclaim after putting the Titans where they could do no more harm to the world. Hera his second wife was both strategic and majestic. His first wife, he swallowed and she continued to give him advice while in his head… until she wanted to have a child.
