If you struggle with concentrating and quieting your thoughts during meditation, binaural beats can assist in helping you reach a meditative state. Binaural beats are two sounds of specific frequencies, one delivered through each ear.
Begin in a comfortable meditation space where you can devote your undivided attention to what you’re listening to. You will need headphones and at least 30 minutes to complete this exercise.
Choose your preferred meditative position. Begin to get yourself in the mindset and when you are ready, begin playing your chosen track. Focus on what you are listening to. The different frequencies in each ear will assist in relaxing and getting you into the mindset necessary to continue your meditation. Studies have shown that it takes approximately 7-8 minutes for the effect to set in. Remember that this is the beginning of training that you will need the practice to perfect.
